A Girl and her Wind-Up

She's always had an interest in music, ever since she was a kit. Barding came to her rather naturally. At first, it had been a casual hobby for her, something she would do in her spare time merely for herself, but as she grew a bit more confident in her abilities, MaeKa began strumming her harp strings for others.'It would be nice,' she absently mused one day to her partner, 'if I had a partner to play with now and then.'Her ever-resourceful husband came up with an idea. While skilled in the art of barding on the battlefield, performing was not exactly his thing. And so the multifaceted crafter built a wind-up of his darling, one that could play as efficiently as her.
Never one to stop at basic, he decided to see just what he could do. A wind-up companion would be nice, automated, but what about one that could truly think for itself?And that was just what he managed.While more often than not seen with her namesake counterpart, the wind-up has a penchant for wandering about on its own accord. While it more often than not chooses to remain silent, it can occasionally be heard offering a quip or two before returning to silence-- it prefers to let its instruments speak in its stead.For more information on MaeKa, see her personal carrd.

Songs that are duet only will only be played if both MaeKa and Wind-Up MaeKa are online/in the venue. All songs can (and likely will) be played as duets if both are present. As most songs are intend initially for duets, they may sound different if played solo.
